Built in Britain in 1920 following the ideas of the reformer Sir Ebenezer Howard, the residential areas are purposefully away from commercial areas, resulting in tree-lined boulevards next to all industrial estates.
Welwyn Garden City has regular trains to London King's Cross which take approximately 30 minutes.
